Ownership, terms of use, disclaimer, and privacy.

Last updated: June 2026 Governing law: Florida, USA

1. Ownership & copyright

The software, text, graphics, design, and other materials presented on this website (the “Content”) are authored by Ilya V. Osipov and are owned by Anna Club LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, USA (the “Company”). The Company holds the copyright and all commercial and economic rights in the Content by written assignment from the author. “ctrl8” and the program names are used by the Company to identify its products.

2. Software licenses

Programs are offered under different terms. The open-source ones are: ioDiacritics and its demo apps under the MIT License; MenuBarFolder under the MIT License; DrPaste under the GNU GPL-3.0-or-later; and PolyType Lang (PTL) — the language specification, its documentation and a reference library — under the MIT License. The PolyType app and SlipWay are proprietary: their source code is not published, and all rights are reserved by Anna Club LLC except as expressly granted. Where a program is released under an open-source license, that license governs your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute that program, and nothing on this page limits or overrides the rights granted to you under that license. This website’s own text, graphics, and design are © Anna Club LLC.

3. Disclaimer of warranties

The Content and all downloads are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Company and the author do not warrant that the software is error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your requirements. You use the Content at your own risk.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Anna Club LLC or the author be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) this website, the Content, or any program — whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the relevant Content, or USD 100, whichever is less.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website or the Content to violate any law, infringe any third party’s rights, distribute malware, or interfere with the website’s operation. Beyond the rights granted by an applicable open-source license, you may not remove or alter any copyright, ownership, or attribution notices.

6. Privacy

This website is a static site and does not collect personal data, set tracking cookies, or run analytics or advertising. It is served via GitHub Pages, and software downloads are hosted on GitHub; when you visit those services, GitHub may process technical information (such as your IP address and request data) under GitHub’s privacy statement. The programs themselves are local-first and do not send your content to the Company; any optional third-party services a program connects to (for example, an AI provider you configure yourself) are governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

7. Inquiries

All legal, licensing, commercial, and copyright inquiries must be addressed to Anna Club LLC (Florida, USA). The author does not handle such matters in a personal capacity.

8. Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The Company may update this page at any time; the version posted here is the current one, and your continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
