DrPaste

Stay in flow between copy and paste.

Beta · v0.59.1 MIT · open source macOS 13+ clipboard

Latest beta release. The DMG sits at the top of the release page — Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, and stapled for Gatekeeper. MIT, open source. Provided “as is”, without warranty.

Prefer the terminal? brew install --cask ilya000/tap/drpaste

DrPaste keeps a lossless history of everything you copy — text, images, PDFs and files — with full formatting and metadata. Hold ⌥⌘V, find the thing you copied earlier, optionally transform it, and release to paste — without ever opening a clipboard window.

Built for heavy clipboard use

  • Universal clipboard history — up to 500 items, all content types.
  • Rich-text-aware transformations and ~24 built-in text actions.
  • OCR and image processing.
  • Custom regex / transformation engines you can extend.

The gesture

One continuous motion: hold the hotkey, browse, pick an action, release. The HUD appears at your cursor and disappears the moment you're done — no window juggling, no context switch.

Want AI transformations too? PolyPaste is built on the same clipboard core and adds AI-authored macros — translate, summarize, reformat. DrPaste stays focused on fast, lossless history.
